Within the scope of Yajva Combined Cycle Natural Gas Power Plant Project; steam/water cycle, a water treatment plant, control systems, electrical systems, instrumentation, gas compressors, an administration building, a natural draft cooling tower and 220 Kv switchgear, as well as support equipment such as a Gas Turbine, a Steam Turbine, a Generator, a Condenser, a single shaft, consisting of a vertical natural cycle type flameless boiler (heat recovery steam generator - HRSG) produced by CMI. Siemens 1xSCC5-4000F-1S Power Line is included.
ENKA has been selected by the employer EON Russia to undertake the Engineering, Procurement and Construction works of the Yajva Combined Cycle Power Plant Project.
- 2.03 million person-hours were completed without any lost-time accidents
- ENKA was awarded the “Global Best Project” award in the Energy & Industrial category in the “2013 Global Best Projects” competition organized by the famous Engineering News Record (ENR) magazine with this project
- This project was completed within the original budget and ahead of the project schedule, in full compliance with international and applicable Russian norms and standards, resulting in first-class quality and to the full satisfaction of the Owner
- This project is the first expansion activity implemented in Yajva Power Plant since 1965 and increased the capacity of the power plant to 1,036 MW
- SIEMENS F Class Turbine was put into service for the first time in Russia, with one of the best operational records in the country.
